At Eagle Bible Church, we are committed to investing in local, national, and global missions. We are called to serve the lost, hurting and broken around us. We believe that God’s kingdom work is mutually transformational, building up both those who receive and those that give. At Eagle Bible Church, you can be equipped and empowered to make a difference in the world, the community and in the lives of those around you. We often say let's not head "across the sea" until we have made our way "across the street."
This year we are "going out." Our goal is to participate in our community through certain service projects and recreational events. Here are some potential future events:
Summer - Explore Men Bikers Outreach
August - Back to School BBQ
December - Christmas on Broadway

Update Christmas 2016
Christmas is about hope in a God that came to dwell WITH us! Life is about sharing this Hope with those in need. Hope in Jesus can change lives and change a culture. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve on a team that seeks to share the hope of Jesus in PNG. Thank you for standing with us to make that happen.
This year has been full of ministry opportunities for our family - we have traveled to coach and consult with church planting teams around PNG that are right in the thick of disciple making. The goal is always the same - a maturing church. However, because there are hundreds of distinct people groups within PNG - there are unique challenges in each location. We have also had opportunities to minister in a local school, the hospital, and the local community by teaching, serving, and sharing the BEST NEWS of Jesus.
Most of what we do as the Director for NTM-PNG is minister to the wonderful missionaries that serve in over 30 different people groups. What a privilege to serve modern day missionary heroes. This year our organization (NTM-PNG) is on pace to share with five people groups that will hear the Best News for the first time. NTM-PNG has over 330 missionaries working toward the common goal of maturing churches among the least reached of PNG.
Here is our challenge for you - Please consider joining the team for anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 months. We are in desperate need high-school teachers, ICT staff, a dentist and/or a hygienist, and help in our business office. Most of these jobs do not require you learning a new language or anything like that - we just need willing hearts that want to serve the missionaries of PNG. You can do it - and we would love to have you.
Finally, we want to say thank you and Merry Christmas to those of you have that have prayed for us, written and encouraged our hearts, and sacrificially supported us financially. We are amazed at the team that makes our ministry possible. We serve a great God that uses the WHOLE TEAM to keep us going. Thank you so much for your part.
Pray for the people groups NTM-PNG plans to share with this year - Mali-Baining, Pei, Menya, Iski, and Amdu. Teams are currently finishing language study, preparing materials and translation, and teaching literacy in preparation for teaching Creation to Christ in the heart language of these people groups in 2017.
Praise - Lindsey has been accepted at PBAU. We would like to travel home as a family to help her through this transition this summer. Pray for all that goes into this transition happening well.
